Now I actually envy you. If I was in Vegas and Icesus was down, I'd figure out what to do real quick. Bellagio, Table 1. Say hi to Doyle for me.mandrake wrote:I live in Las Vegas, I do not have a home puter at this time so I have to use a cyber cafe to play so yea I have to pay by the hour.

well thats three hours wasted, still don't know what happend all I know is if someone screwed up how bout punishing THEM and not all of us. and if it was something wrong with the new guild again why punish all of us? I think you're taking Misrobo a little too literally. 29823457 people simultaneous...

Small tailoring tweak
Not a huge idea by any means. As it stands right now tailoring skill does not exactly replicate all the options you have at the seamstress. Resizing at the smithy or tailoring defaults to making eqs optimal to your race size. Smithy, however, also has an option to resize <to min>, making smallest eq...

Here is a small suggestion to improve the wiki. I'm a complete noob when it comes to upper end EQs. Some of the items are commonly referred to by a name that is different from it's short description. Nera dagger belt, grief's end, etc, etc. Perhaps an alternative armours/weapons page where noobs can...

Portable MUDclient
I'm looking for a client to use from work. What I mean by portable client is something that can be carried on a USB stick without having to install it. Fly under the radar from command prompt and never enter into windows registry. The computers at work use windows XP, if that helps. I'm sure it can ...

Long legs? Reduced movement endurance point cost in all terrain. No change in combat. I thought we already had that. It is called long stride lbd bonus? would likely take alot of pdf, maybe fill that void in the 750 region. Minmaxer's dream. I vote 'yes' with both hands. And one foot too. Sorry, st...

Ok, some more random musings. Without access to the code its hard to figure out how things work exactly. I speculate that the lbd check if performed when you succeed in the skill, even if it is currently at 0%. So, camping, for example, can be learned from 0. The skill is actually activated through ...

I figured I'd bump up this old thread. So far in my experience melee skill proven to be very elusive. Its very hard to lbd in a fighter-type guild, because you need it to advance levels, and you're stuck at low levels trying to learn the damn thing. Perhaps, the ideal solution in not to try to learn...

Open letter to the thief
Yes, this is an open letter to the retard who stole my loot twice in the last two days. When I leave stuff on the ground in the outworld location, hoping that nobody finds it - ok, that was my own stupidity. But when you come back the next and deliberately dig it up from a covered up hole in the gro...

Maximizing LBD
I tried an experiment recently. Optimizing my character build by taking maximum benefit of learnable by doing skills. 90% of lbd skills are relatively straight forward, you use them and you learn them, just as the description says. Then there are the 10% that proven a little tricky. Throwing-related...

DISCLAIMER - I've never done any serious eq in Icesus, so I'm mostly going by Yoz'es description of it. When I just started playing Icesus, I really liked the idea of the mage guild - WOW! They actually had spell components, and you got to cuztomize your own spells, that's something I've never seen ...
