Perhaps just make the oldest incarnation of the race the "elder" of the race? Of course only considering reasonably active players etc. Kind of small award for not reincing, like. Maybe give a very small +wis boost?

Horde kind of suggests that there are a lot of them and that they are plundering their way, but as I understand it they are nomadic hunters and not very many. I think it would be nice if you were able to see the help files of the skills you get access to with you next level (could be restricted so that you'd have to be in the guild room to see them), making it easier to choose which sub (open or closed) it'd be nice to get your next level in. A sub with animal taming and some riding skills would be nifty
