Are there currently server issues?

13th Oct: I got booted off the game earlier this morning. So far, I haven't been able to connect and get back in. Dev server seems to work fine, but I haven't heard anyone on #icesus in IRCnet saying that the game is down, nor is there any posts on the forum besides this one that addresses the issue...

Does 'ambidexterity' score help with weapon+shield combat styles with/without sword and board (you normally make no attacks with your shield -> shield points get directed to primary hand?), or when dual-gripping a single weapon?
