Mind of steel

1) A new skill in game, "mind of steel". 2) If you get heavy damage, your spellcasting might be slowed or even disrupted. Concentrated casting, Concentration (psi), Pain threshold (sorc) and Mind of steel skills will help you. 3) It is a "soft tune", meaning you can barely notice...

Monster natural weapon damage

Fixed a bug in monster's natural weapons, which means barehanded monsters will hit harder. Animals or other monsters with non-standard weaponslots (not just right and left hand) will hit a little bit less. The effects of this bugfix will be monitored and will be tuned more, if necessary. A special n...

From the silence we can deduct that
a) there is no one playing sd anymore :P
or
b) nothing more to complain.

I wish its the b.

The questions rankings were of my 'mutu', so I tweaked those that went awfully off the percentage. Gimme tells / mudmails if you have suggestions of spelling of questions. (Btw, the elemental god question is clear, the names are enough, no matter what punctuation you use, theyre detected from the an...

Trivia improvements

The first ever Trivia was run and it seemed to be a success. Besides a few typos in questions and/or answers, and perhaps some lame questions, what there is to improve? Give the input here what would you change / add / remove, and keep posting the questions to my _mudmail_. Remember, do not share in...

Trivia event

Trivia event & daemon are completed, but more trivia questions are needed. The categories are 'This & That', 'History & Statistics', Heroes & Villains', 'Geography' and 'Flora & Fauna'. Mudmail, _mudmail_ me with any trivia questions you might make up, include information what di...

Yep thats true 10k is much to newbie and i think almost nobody liked to have survivalist before they have 30lvl or so. But i think this may be solved like many other things in this game too. By nice and helping NPC Newbies get it as it was earlier, except they get the same advantage of low-weight b...

Tumi has fixed few things now but caused almost as much other things not to work. Hopefully he will keep up "clearing" things. Can't fix if anyone doesn't tell. I've fixed everything I've broken while rewriting the guild mortals have told. There are plenty of broken things by Treax...

Re: Recent wound tune.

These bandages and first aiding is ridiculous, first of all bandages weigh 0.2kgs and space 1.5 litres. Now imagine a wound taking up to six or even more these bandages that would mean you having used a bucket full of bandages on _SINGLE_ wound, what makes this even more ridiculous is that mold men...

Tumi <game-info>: Bulk of bandages lowered considerably, first aid and chirurgy were tuned up a little. (Quit whining, and go train the skill from survivalists, it REALLY helps you in patching) I emphasize the words go train the skill , its available to everyone from survivalists, and it really make...
