I guess it that's what's required I'll have to do the long overland trek with my pitiful ep ....
why are poor Thri-kreen so discriminated against?

Thri-kreen Infecti
After a long hiatus from Icesus, I decided to start anew and try something different. I decided to take advantage of the new Hive subguild and try psionicists for a while so I decided to make a Thri-kreen Infecti ... interestingly, I took my usual 116 adv points to allow me to level to 30 ... wander...

Psi for newbies
As a newbie who has reinc'd heaps ... I can see a couple of limitations with the new classes that mean I still go back to mage or airpriest in preference With the Infecti: 1) the point made by a previous poster is quite valid .. I only got up to about lvl 23 ... but the failure rate was very high .....
Parrying Daggers
I think you'll find the use of the sword-breaking dagger (aka parrying dagger) depends a lot on the era. They came into vogue more during the time when rapier's were more popular as these were light enough to parry and deflect with the dagger .. and potentially break if they got caught in the tines....
