There are some very nice ideas involving sd recode however I would like to see some basic tuning before if it will happen someday. The one MAIN reason dancers do suck is obvious when you take a look at these rocking skill maxes...: Shadowdancing 85% Strike mighty blow 65% Twin weapons 55% Move silen...

I agree. Untuned and unbalaced guilds are easily abusable. I think the reward of getting luxury free reincs and PDF should be enough. I've heard that 'guild-testers' were doing insane exp rates with untuned wilders. The testing should not involve exp or money because its about helping getting the gu...

Dunn has some valid points. Wilder seems to be some sort of semi-word derived from the word (Wild)men/(Wilder)ness? And I find it somewhat not coherent with the other guild names. Going for a unique name is "ok" but then would try something that doesn't have the english sound to it example...

The problem with meat is that it just doesn't rot away like corpses, which is utterly stupid.

Thanks for the guide! More indepth guides for each guild such as this should be considered. These will attract more players if done properly with good english language. You could always skip game mechanics which would spoil too much thus violate the holy codex of "don't share." =D>

Well... everyone that has some mudding experience can notice that most backgrounds are completely useless bonus wise. Ex. Taking soldier career is totally crap. The background system is good but it is need some serious tweaking because as it is it has so many errors. The system looks good but it doe...

Backgrounds

I think the 'Darklandish' background system were introduced to bring some variety to the usual character generation and even some roleplaying elements to the game... which however don't work as planned. Why? Most picks such as scout, roadbuilder, messenger etc are the only option when making a melee...

Shifters got a new uptune considering the weapon class system? I heard it was a bug that dropped WC dramatically. Dunno why it hasn't been posted in the news.

The bounty system could be implemented to shadowdancers or something concerning the blacklist idea... though the guild has more important things to do such as fix bugs (which won't happen in a year or two) than to implement new things(which you can probably witness when you are 60 years old).

Ok... if that is true guilds are too mastery oriented and exp doesn't mean jack shit. Lets just all start spamming prayer and elemental channel with triggers and watch our piety go up. WOO! Exp is not the key anymore. Voila! We have a 10m human templar with godly blow of justice. Exp and then master...

Lets keep this rolling. In theory, if you consider that a 40m worth dancer with 95% annihilation, asassination, knowledge of inner organs will do more damage with backstab than a 1G highbie with maxed überstats and skills and no masteries, there is something really wrong. I am right?? ++Draug ps. T...

I don't like the "newbie guild" idea at all. All guilds should be playable no matter what you'r total experience is. At least if you have a high worth a guild should be done to compensate it somehow. Imho masteries should not be the main thing of a guild. Icesus is a hack&slash mud and...

I agree that masteries are good they should not be removed at any cost but tweaking should be seriously considered. Imho a mastery should not be such an important part of a guild. Ex. A 10-20% max effect on your damage is a good way to start. Relying heavy on masteries imho it is a cheap way to tune...

Well it is easy for you to say with low worth. Example as a former mage and a newly fresh reinced Epriest with your nicely done 800m worth you will probably think that you should do well with you'r high skills and spells. Think again? You would suck with your shitty wraith and you will reinc out (at...
