All-Time Trapping Records partial purge (bug?)

flyers?
yesno. marginal.
anywayz, the text should be thought very well, at least at the same level like "professional business cards" with a spice of student world/nerdiness -factor.

two sided sword (duh!)
more than three possibilities: 1) (almost) pure telnet mudders. leave those alone. 2) semicoders, who code triggers, aliases, variables, tables, statistics and whatnot, until they have what you asked, but they know how to change it. 3) those who like to have icesus-client. because it's supposed to m...

adjustment(s)
very well though and planned. all the replies are fine too. but. you forgot very big sea areas. well, why not upgrade your version about midbie-highbie terrain to low/newbie-highbie terrain? low waters for new/lowbie, middle waters to midbie and deep places to near lvl100? and one more thing: (i kno...

it would effect in the starting room
it should only work in each areas "starting" or "first" room. otherwise some ppl might abuse it somehow, if you can see faraway areas players.
it could also be learn by doing skill, if more exact messages can be coded easily.
edit:typo

i agree
the game is too much concentrated around Vaerlon, roads and some few other places. codewise i have no idea how big this would be, but simply moving one guild to another is very simple indeed. what would be the consequenses of moving is totally another thing. probably it affects only to players after...

outworld area differences?
probably there are no differences between area monsters and outworld monsters?
consider as a skill has helped me many times in OW when facing new species.

many types of wood
well, we have yew, spruce, and many many more types of wood. not just one.
hard wooden weapons/torches would take long time to burn, hard to lit, would make more or different type damage, and so on.
implement those too. the code exists already, just some oo-coding is needed.

maybe yes
i don't know *exactly* about my plans, since the time is so.... not fixed. fix the time, and i can tell you whether or not.
but basically, count me in.
(i can probably take "my" "car" from tampere to jyvaskyla, and it'll hold 3 more free muddersplace....)

similar system
spells/skills should bee in the same system.
they are the different sides of the same coin.
maybe it's teh coding&etc. and there no one mortal can help you wizards, unfortunately.
(what should've been and not are teh subject of eternal dispute.)
