Re: whetstones lol
Sweet. For melee types. Wish for an equivalent caster guild! Well chronos already IS the equivelant caster guild. Melee types are generally locked out of the higher chrono levels due to crappy intelligence. Of course if you have decent costs and oodles of spare exp, you can get a decent haste spell...

The skinning LBD rate i'm pretty sure was whacked on by Echcua, and either none of the other wizards have gotten around to putting it back to slightly learnable, or it's working as intended. I wouldn't really be surprised if it is working as intended however, since it's about the only skill which ma...

Solar I'm not sure the problem is partying itself, it's just the way that this mud's combat works, that mostly all you need to do is raise a skill % high and hope it procs often. The newly added shiet is great (momentums/uncanny) but it's not tactical, it's a bit of extra damage. We dont have things...

I always wanted to live in Vekkak  but lack of a fur trader and fire altar made that kinda difficult. I really like the idea of having certain types of players hanging out in different communities, tied by the guilds they choose. But it's not just exp areas and guilds that keep players stuck ...

This would, of course, mean that using this fleeing technique would have a positive impact on their masteries, which is always a welcome addition - especially now that shadow merging has become a party-only mastery, and that mastery sounds like it would be directly related to this kind of fleeing, ...

Shadowdancers + fleeing
Putting a new thread up so as to not derail Bel's thread over in the general forum. I remember shadowdancers losing their precious controlled retreat when their guild structure got tuned. Maybe someone could make it so that they would have a way to flee better as long as they are solo? Something rel...

Bowery could use a way to hunt specific branches, how can an experienced bowyer cut off a spruce branch when he is looking for yews? This would be extremely useful now people will want to waste extra time hunting down branches to make the new magical bows. Being able to reload a bow while hunting wo...

Here follows a list of whines about things which are probably working as intended, or not important enough for most people to worry about. Icesus has a lot of mainguilds, which is one of it's neatest aspects since there is a guild for anyone who comes here to play. But some of em are really underpla...

Just to add some to the point about whirling blades. It is kind of backwards that a troll wielding a couple of axes can outperform smaller races in terms of whirl and melee damage, and also benefit from higher con, and bigger size. The ranger_help file for whirling blades suggests that dexterity is ...
