Don't those people get paid _not_ to allow dangerous nonhumanoids into the city? They are called guards for a reason, damnit! Presumably they will admit anyone who asks politely. I think a better solution would be to make the Survival guild levels useful. I hope you mean useful by adding new skills or content which cannot be gotten elsewhere, rather than taking all the current talents and changing them to skills, forcing people to take survival levels. Lite woundedmonster works great, if only people pay attention. The only problems are aggro monsters, whose colourcode hides woundedmonster colour. Especially if the monster is almost dead and the party/player kill it before realizing the situation. Perhaps wounded and aggro mobs could be lited diff...
