As far as I know, none of the guilds we currently have active have 'pets', 'minions' or 'companions'.

Royal archer's don't teach move silently. But there is a way to get it to low percentage even if you're not a ranger. But... it might not be worth it.

Origamists!

These Origamists would be GREAT! I couldn't have done better job myself to come up with ideas for it.

Now, we - ahem... Suron, not 'we'. only needs a willing wizard to help coding it.

Excellent idea. And just think about the STYLE this guild would have!

Problematic to compare power, eh?

Sigh... I know what you think you know you do, and what I think I know about what I mean. There are many ways to compare 'power'. The first way is to compare damage dealt divided by sp. The second way is to compare damage dealt divided by time. Third way is to compare all three factors. Then there ...

Not 'more offensive power', but instead 'more spells'

Ah, I see that you have actually read my post... and haven't found it utter crap. This is nice, however I do wish to clarify that by mentioning possible 'new offensive spells' wouldn't exactly mean that they would have to turn out to be spells like 'Super-great call lightning mk.2' or 'Solar's unavo...

Rant

Perhaps you are right Belannaer, but you being right doesn't solve the problem from my point of view :D I compared the two guilds to each other and found earth_priests to be "better" in general. It's true that air_priests function better in certain areas... no wait, they only function bett...

Upgrades

I have whined about (some of) these before, and I will do so yet again. Chirurgy needs a mastery for it... Well, not exactly 'needs' but one would be very nice. As for what it does, I suggest raised amount of hp healed and faster chirurgy using. :) And while we are still discussing masteri...

Preacher, bah

_As far as I know there are no_ downsides in preaching... except the "spam" and being pkilled by... ah nevermind. On the other hand, there are many beneficial effects in it that I know of. (I don't know if I'm allowed to share this info, but some (most?) people really don't have _any_ clue...

oh but they are!

If I understood you correctly, I wish to point out that small portion of the skills that have raised by themselves do indeed stay over to the next reinc... and to the reinc after that and so on... These skills do include improvised combinations, foam, archery, throwing etc.

Worth a shot...

My humble suggestion for a talent: Shadow image  Player who wishes to use this talent needs a lightsource (preferrably one that emits light) Now let's have a brief look at what it does: The party is all set, the eqmonster would be going down pretty soon. As the last of the protective spells ha...

rebirth

Yes, and no, Thoran. Marked eq are unmarkable. And marked eq get eqdamage if used by someone else. If this seems too overpowering, allow no eqs to kept at all. I suggested marked eq being saved because some of the eqs are rare/ungettable/unique and should not be lost in this manner. But if only exp ...

rebirth or whatever

We had players who discussed "Rebirthing" on the chat channel. So I decided to open it here, too. Basically, rebirthing is a suicide-like thing where you start anew (doable after reaching a certain total worth), forsaking your experience points, items and so on, while getting the benefits ...

Names...

These should be common knowledge. Shanty town is populated by orcs but belongs to the kingdom of Valkor. It is located west from Vaerlon, on the other side of the mountains. (see map, same colour as Vaerlon) Highhill is populated by halflings and is near the swamp (a road goes from its vicinity) nor...

sdancer event

Yes, it was very nice... Lots of sdancers to kill. Mmmm. Did you get anything special from that "event"? Devotion? Masteries? (Yeah, don't answer, sharing information) At least Pemriel did comment on the attack on the Templars' guild channel. If this would be made a regular event, perhaps ...

All fellow mudders unite!

If I remember correctly wizards said that they were useless or wouldn't be brought back. I might be mistaken of course. One thing I do know is that there is a chance that if enough people would agree with you (Very much like I do now, by posting this reply here for all to look at), they could change...

Artic has a point.

Artic mentioned making headbands from flowers. I agree, it would be very stylish and (IMHO) a good addition :)
