Seems like Belannaer got it mostly sorted out except for Wolves and Cats. For cats I like Razorclaw Bloodcat. This powerful feline is similar in appearence to a tiger. Slightly bigger and with much sharper claws, it is capable of swiping through multiple opponents with little resistance. Could give ...

Only two terrains ? I could be wrong, since my statistical sample is a bit small, but I think that you get different mushrooms in different types of forests. Also, help gathering needs to be updated, (hope a wizards reads this) since mushrooms don't grow only in forests any more. What really bugs me...

Leading mount

I understand that most people who use mounts, use them for riding, so the ability to lead them is a nice afterthought. I think the interface could be improved tho. It is rather awkward to have to type the command each time, and being unable to use 'walk' turns travel from Vaerlon to Atherton into an...

I almost felt like I am talking to a wall here. So many (note quotation marks) "responses", and Felgand is the first one to actually address the point of equitable risk pk. Thank you. Honestly people, I already heard 50 different ways to rephrase ''shadowdancers are supposed to take risk&q...

who says you can't defend yourself? you're free to kill anyone in graemor, you can even be pre-emptive.. I think I already adressed that. I'm not asking for an opportunity to engage in virtual combat and, perhaps, even kill the opponent. I am asking for his death to hurt him, as much as it would hu...

Re: Moo

Once again, the fact that your guild is in graemor should give you a clue that there is some risk involved in joining it. That's your own decision, and it's part of being in that guild. It always has been. Stop trying to turn icesus into the flower mud of flower muds, lol. I fail to see how I am ad...

Re: Moo

dancers/epriests just start defending their town, as in alerting guildmembers that 'foo' is in graemor, time for manhunt event, and actually coming to graemor to deal with intruder despite exprate loss. That would hardly achieve anything. The fundamental unfairness here is that shadowdancers and ep...

Well, in your previous post you were happy we got a discussion going. How about we keep it going ? And with real conversation instead of exchanging sarcatic remarks. How long do you think he will be able to pay taxes for each room in his city when taxes cumulate room after another. Ok, I'll give you...

The cash flow between players don't solve anything relating to the inflation. If money does not disappear anywhere from the game the economy is fucked. There are many basic problems why the economy is very hard to balance in Icesus. Well, that why I thought of my ideas more as a two-prong solution....

Anyway, i agree with you Cezar about the combination of alchemists and merchant guilds. I would also like to see more specialized people around here, particularry in areas which can affect the virtual economy of Icesus. As you said, this way even smaller players can profit from larger players and n...

Any ideas expressed are fine where they are. You want to post your ideas, do it in the same thread, don't start a new one. It's called common courtesy. :x  Move this to the merchant thread please. It is my understanding that you can only make polls when starting new thread. Yet another well ...

Bank transfer fees.

You very well know that suggesting more ways to drain money from players is going to elicit a lot of negative response, but I think the bank transfer fees are worth a special whine. The idea would result in a huge burden on party sharing the sellable loot. According to your table, a party leader sha...

House game

Had a conversation with Misrobo awhile ago, and that seems to be where we have a disagreement. Blackjack is a house game, Poker is not. When I started the thread, I never meant it to be a way to play against "icesus", in the same way we play lotto. I looked through help poker, don't know i...

As to not being able to gamble against the house, that's perfectly fine with me, poker isn't supposed to be a house game.

Do we want pokerroom ?

According to Idles, we already have enough ways to rape the same monsters, and admins want to develop more fun things to do other than combat. I think some people would want (I would, for one) play some poker with icesus money, it quickly gets boring to just lose your money in blackjack.
