If there were NPC's to handle all the player-based services, then there would be less need for players to join those guilds. Exa. if you had an air priest NPC to cast life boost on you and then a full heal...no matter the cost, if it was a decent boost players would use it a lot more than begging fo...
It's probably best to give no bonuses to any skills, spells, or masteries whatsoever using snowball fight. Give snowball fighting a massive :!: ep-cost, though, and then you have a tunable method for raising these things, which is perfectly fine... Edit: Well, to clarify what I'm saying, there shoul...

Silly, yes, and pretty easy to add (afaik), but I'm just curious why it has to be mage-only? Perhaps other caster guilds like psionicist or sorcerer should get colored spells too. Or, the need for a new cantrip could be eliminated by giving players the option to set their spell colors, if that's pos...

I'm probably way out of my league answering this post, but I'm going to take my chances... I honestly think that Shadowdancers should just suck it up. Firstly, stop using the same tired old phrase. This is, what, the fifth incarnation now? The point I thought of making was that not everyone likes to...

IIRC (can't get on to check at the moment...), merchant guild's stats are generally Charisma (primary) and Wisdom (secondary). If you're trying to join a guild that gives exp/cash, merchants might not be great choice for you. There's no exp gain whatsoever, and none of merchant skills can help gain ...
Re: New mobs?
[quote="rotax"] Satyr - Half man, Half goat. Bearded, sometimes with horns or goat's ears. ~15k? Harpie - A winged beast, with the head and breasts of a woman, and the body of a bird. ~50k? Devil Whale - Extremely large whale, the size of an island. ~1M? [quote] Satyrs are already in the g...
Ehm, not to burst your bubble, but with your super-sized fairy coming it at about half a foot...Well, that would be like making a leprechaun ranger. Which is a dumb choice, since they aren't strong/big enough to wield decent swords for whirling blades. And their limited strength makes them iffy as a...

Just looking over these ideas, it seems like they are generally designed to be really outstanding compared to their similar countarparts. Therefore they should be rarer, and more valuable, if added to standard weapon types. Else they should just be unique eqs found in only a few places. Mostly criti...

Oh, that sounds like a good addition too. Emercengy swap... 'Course, it doesn't make the Party Wimpy idea obsolete. Say one of your tanks took a head crit and dropped from 90-45% and took a wound (yes, exaggerating) in one blow, in that sort of situation even if you're at full alertness it would be ...

"Party Wimpy"
A new party command for the party leader. This would be like the Wimpy command, but applies to the whole party. When any one member reaches the wimpy setting, the party leader automatically flees. Great for those of us with slow typing skills, reflexes, internet connections, or all three. Like norma...

Typo messages
(This is my first forums post. Bear with me) When player typos the default message is What? If player sets random typomessages then we get odd stuff that's random. Well, the idea is that a player should be able to set typo_message <string> ...so that when they typo they get a custom typomessage. Ie...
