I didn't mean help files are not required at all, but having all of them listed on the main page was kind of scary. Also, having 'name policy' and 'name policy short' is kind of redundant. Same for 'Death', 'Death Short' and 'Death commands'. I was thinking of posting it in relevant pages' discussio...

Icesus wiki
For those of you who missed it, Uzriel has graciously set up and is hosting a wiki for Icesus related stuff (read: information sharing galore!). You can reach it in the following location: http://icesus-wiki.studt.net Visit and share your Icesus wisdom. And now for the real reason I started this thr...

Surnames looks like interesting alternative to grinding for a secondary or starting whole new character if you don't like your name anymore. This seems like a role-playing feat to me, which is a bit strange considering rp in Icesus, or lack thereof. Or am I missing something about the other effects...

Oh, and some people seem to be forgetting that it *was* possible to cast Orb of Light and Orb of Darkness and give it to others, for a brief period of time. However this turned out to be imbalanced, people would rather pay big money (up to 10k wasn't unheard of) for a nice unremovable Orb than buy ...

I think this is a good idea. I would like to see more diversity in players' home cities and I think it could be very beneficial to the idea of grand plot (in some form or another), which I also like. But, I think the problem is not that some (or most) guilds are located in a single city. It's that c...

Re: Ranger defensive lore
(P.S: an alternate idea is that i hear shadowdancers, who supposidly are also very light offtanks, have some sort of mastery that lets them avoid hits by ducking into shadows. Giving rangers a mastery which lets them duck around a tree and avoid a hit sounds like it would be effective as well, and ...

Re: Mud Clients
I used to use AL Client a looong time ago too, but I doubt anyone's heard of that one. I'm using AL client. It's not as feature rich as other clients, but I like the fact it doesn't require installation, which makes it a mud-client-on-a-stick. Also used zmud and RoA client for a while, but gave the...

True masters of shapeshifting have gained the knowledge that the beast power lies within. Thus, they are able to retain most of their human form, allowing them to use human tools, yet master still the feats of beasts: their mighty strength and blinding speed (and the claw of death! / venomous touch ...

Re: Hunting Faq.
Thumbs up for the informative guide. Once you actually track down the animal, it becomes a mob in the room, usually with a tag on the end such as <grazing> or <resting>. I don't know if there is a meaningful difference between these tags, and if someone knows of one, I would love to hear. I think th...
