Arena Facelift
The arena has served Icesus well as a diversion from pure experience gaining/money gathering, etc and gives players a chance to compare their abilities against each other. However, I think several new options may be added to improve upon it which I will try to detail in the following points: 1.) Rig...

Mage Tweaks
With the influx of new caster guilds (sorcerers and psionicists) whom are able to solo effectively and can take hits rather well. I think it is reasonable to improve a mage's soloing ability somewhat to make them less obscenely dependant upon a party. I propose one (or both) of the following changes...

Now that you mention it, if thievery were allowed on Icesus...thieves would need to lose the ability to use safe rooms else they would be able to idle within one while waiting for the timer to end. In addition, it'd probably be best to set the timer on the thief's online time (48 hours worth) to sim...

Thievery
I think thievery could add a very interesting aspect to Icesus _IF_ there was a chance that the player being stolen from could have a chance of detecting the theft in the first place AND be able to regain the item in some way within a certain window of time. For the second part, I propose that for a...

PK'ing
Having spent time on MUDs that both prohibit pk'ing and ones that encourage PK (as a method of roleplay), it certainly has its place on Icesus. However, by necessity, limits do need to be placed (and sufficient punishment for breaking these limits) to ensure an environment that encourages partying a...

Cooking
I think this guild could be great if fleshed out a bit more. Besides, I'm getting bored of eatting burnt moose lard.
Druids
I think many guilds already cover the concept of a druids...and adding a main guild would be redundant. I mean, you have rangers and alchemists who already deal with herbs, then rangers and shapeshifters who deal with animal lore/combat in the wilderness...a whole plethora of caster/damage guilds, e...

Idlers and Reputation Gain
After a certain period of time, if the templar is idle, they do not gain any reputation or credit for standing at the gate. So no, the templar does not gain something for nothing. While we're on the subject of gate guarding...I've a peeve with folks that feel it's fun to try and spam enter the city ...

Main guild
I think it would not be a poor idea to create a main guild that has very little to no fighting/partying ability, yet perform a vital function in the mud (restoring armors, let's say) that nothing else in the game can match. Let's take several examples: Master Artisan (Example 1): He logs into the ga...
