I think the cheapest blessing is around 150 pdf, if you have 13 or so like me theyre just quite useless, though you can get quite a bit of pdf by becoming a jaa-ry member, just don't bother to try and get enough by submitting bug or typo reports

I think this is a great idea, unfortunately any such thing would mean a downtune to the melee skills rangers have to compensate. Add to that, Galiere has said for a long time that there will be no "pets" for rangers, which i think would include temporary taming, maybe it's a balance issue ...

Perhaps beholders could sit in one of those wagons you can buy and ride around with some mount pulling it, like a farmer or guy from them cowboy movies.
