As a direct result of the feedback we received, there is now a newbie helper system and dedicated staff to help and guide new players in any issues they might encounter.
The system is accessible via the in-game command 'helper' for people in need to make help requests as well as for helpers to manage them. Consult the help file for additional details and syntax.
Currently, there are three members of the helping staff; Cyrik, Yashod and Yoz. Helpers are, in addition to being able to access the system commands, identified by their channel operator status on newbie channel.
We need a couple (1-2 or so) helpers from other, mainly non-European timezones as well. Requirement for becoming a helper is general and wide knowledge of the game as well as being helpful. If you think you fit this criteria, then feel free to ask Belanner or Moraq about becoming one.
