telnet == client
Generally any program you use to connect to a server is a client. Some people on the forums refer to everything else than telnet.exe being a client. This information is incorrect. Even the Windows program named 'Telnet' itself is a client, despite the fact that there's nothing else in it but a few features which can be set up. So try not to tell people to "switch to a client" in case they're using Telnet (most people will hook up with zMUD or something like that in the first place anyway). And before you start yelling at me that telnet is a protocol, not a client... I know the difference between telnet protocol and the telnet client. In fact Windows Telnet is a client program with GUI which uses telnet as protocol.
