Probobly offtopic, but this forum looked kinda empty.

Fishing How-To:

A. Materials Needed
B. Optional Materials
C. Technique
A. Materials Needed:
1. a shovel - needed to get bait.
2. a fishing rod - needed to fish with the bait.
3. water - needed to fish in.
B. Optional Materials:
1. a compact shovel - smaller, easier to carry around
than a normal shovel.
2. bait box - to keep your bait in. when you have bait in
your bait box, you can just fish as if you had the bait
in your hand and you will automatically get it from the box
C. Technique:
1. Get out your shovel and type "dig for worms." Keep trying
in different areas until you get a good bit of them, a lump
or so, depending on how long you intend to fish. You can
hang onto them or stick them in your bait box. (See B2)
2. Get out your rod and find a river or a lake. Stand one
room away from the river/lake and type "fish <direction>
with rod", replacing <direction> with the direction the
water is in.
3. Wait for a bite. When/if a fish decides your worm is
worthy, you will automatically begin to reel it in.

yours is much better, i just did mine kind of as a joke. i didn't think it was really necessary to make a fishing how to, because i think it's a pretty simple skill, but apparently i was wrong.
good idea with the whole luck/superstitions thing, too. personally, i think your tutorial will help newbies and attract people to the subguild.

Well, it started as a joke too, i thought of a few rituals, and i had a good example of insane person with my mom beliving 'fishing day calendars', so i started typeing(having no inet connection at home realy helps that). Fishin realy is an easy skill, most difficult part being getting knowledge about balance, but it's not required to fish.
