I was wondering, if it was legal to post the '4. The Races in the Coven of the Derelict' from the guild command info to this forum. Seems kinda stupid to reinc to the guild and than discover that it would have suited your game style better to reinc to another race.

So please comment on this and post the info somewhere, if its alright. Also it would be nice if the guild appeared i the guild list in the web-page (also a place where the info would be welcome).

At least be race restrictions determined by the guild item(s)
Beholders can join the Coven, but be without it cause they dont have any arm slots. I know for a fact that reinc and join a guild you cant wear your GI sucks big time.

Just my thoughts

This is extremely true, considering that unless you party you cannot attack at all if you are a beholder.

Or a Thri-kreen since both of them are unable to wear GI item

I think that guildcoder hesitated bit when putting those races and giving them those bonuses.
But surely this mistake will be fixed and behos, kreens will not be able to join our mysterious and evil guild.

Actually, I think beholders and bugs can join, they just can't wear the guantlets, so no scourging or checking your masteries. Well, you won't be able to read the guild "info" file either, but maybe someone would paste that to you.

I (and others as well) would appreciate any info you can give. There's actually pretty much no information at all a non-coven player can acquire about the guild. It's not even obvious if it's a caster or fighter guild, not to mention if there are race limits or if some races are better than others.

*shake* Just holding the gauntlets lets you read that stuff. You just can't scourge at all, you need to wear for that. But reading the files is possible.

You should be able to do anything but use scourges with races without hand slots. One thing you aren't able to use is the special guild title which varies with masteries. (the xxx race warlock/witch/thaumaturge title). But i guess you could manage easily with beholder etc if you are using other spells than scourges.

And feel free to paste the race bonuses here.

-edit- and even though the gauntlets show no glow there are some magical bonuses on them, depending of your total levels in the guild.

-edit2- the guild suits best for big parties but you can do nicely with even smaller parties. It is not really meant for soloing, atleast not at this point... Still considering one spell which might make a difference but it takes a while till im able to decide wether i should implement it or not

From what I've seen of the guild...it seems they are as much suitable as a support caster in a large party as they are as an off-tank with scourges leading the way.
