Ok I (for some reason) thought that "artesan" is the old way of writing it... maybe I have seen it in some literature. Anyway, I just checked www.merriam-webster.com (that is the official dictionary for icesus) and it didn't know the word.
Such a guild would be if not on the path of the "exp!" at least something to balance the incredible lack of cash/equipment lately. I mean people are truly poor man !
Maybe it could be related to some of the existing guilds.
Templars control all those elemental energyes...they might imbue permanently items . For example an artEsan templar follower of fire could make a weapon hit faster , with a cost in df maybe. The strength of the enchantment could depend on his coresponding bond and so on...

I think it would be great to have a main guild of merchant, or possibly several sub guilds for crafting. That way a person focusing on crafting magical items would be way better than any old person making them, and we could also have people crafting new weapons, swords, armors, rings et cetera. If players could submit ideas and descriptions for new items too that would speed up the process I'm sure.
