Annoying problem with spiked pit traps

I set five spiked pit traps in a deep forest (not near any public place). Next day I went to check the traps, they weren't there (place was sure right). Still, my 'trap locations' does show them, and thus I can't make traps anymore.

This thing has happened me once before, but luckily that hardware crash prevented it that time.

My traps have returned! Thanks for somebody for fixing this..

The problem has been there previously, but I thought the thing causing it was fixed. Try to catch Idles or Belannaer unidle and describe the problem.

I fixed a bug with rope trap disarming that caused this behavior.

It doesn't explain why this would happen with other traps too. Please post here if the problem persists.

I have found that when the server comes back up the traps are not present. They take a while for the system to place them. They do appear eventually.
