Lag?

hey, I have been noticing some serious lag while I play the mud latly, I know it isnt just my network cause all else seems to run smoothly, also the websites takes sometimes ages to load. I need to know if this is only me or anyone else has it?

No, you're not the only one. The game was alternating between painfully slow and completely unplayable the last week for me as well. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I hear about half the mud complaining about excruciating lag, and the other half playing just fine.

Last night:

(01:27) Idles <ice>: taking backups -> lag

and

(01:28) Belannaer <ice>: well there has been some minor lag for few days now so I guess all can't be blamed on backups :)

This might explain some of it.

Idles also mentioned that there's some packet loss happening for some reason but doesn't know yet why.

It appears the lag is back.
Could Idles, please, reset again... well, whatever it was that he reset the last time ?
