I think it would be cool if you would get a notice when some1 adds you to your friends list, or if you could see who got you on their friends list.

What about the players, whom no one will want on their friends list? They'd get depressed and feel left out, they might then suggest some new artisan-only stuff into the game to get back at us!

oh oh - and when they get notified that you added them to your friends list then you get notified that they got notified so you know that they know that you added them to your friends list....

friend is mostly fast way to see how are online to party with you,nothing more. so its not prob private unless you have something to shame on

Just to confim the sarcasm of my earlier reply - I agree with Minny that the friends list is a private thing and someone both doesn't need to and shouldn't know when they have been added.

Besides it should be a dead giveaway that 3 microseconds after you logon and someone sends you a tell - that you are on their Friends list
