Lets have more players participate in annual events.

Fellow ice'rs,

Just want to open up a thread for us to share ideas on how we can have more people play and enjoy these rare events.

my first suggestion, give out rewards for reaching certain milestones. for example, hunting a total of 15000kg earns u [insert something nice here]. same thing with fishing.

otherwise its been a brilliant xmas break! thanks all! --Wazimu

(Sun Jan 8 14:50) Dracu {hunters}: i like the milestone part, but on a 20hour+ event for an example 15k isn't much of a feat and thus needs to be balanced accordingly. we've also talked about simply giving rewards for reaching 3rd, 4th, 5th etc place
(Sun Jan 8 14:55) Wazimu [hunters]: its just a suggestion. reward could be a few karma for 15000kg, 100k better. and so on..
(Sun Jan 8 14:57) Dracu {hunters}: locking the rewards behind placement would not only promote competition, but also make the rewards inherently better since not everyone can be at 3rd place
(Sun Jan 8 14:58) Dracu {hunters}: also bring back the prize for random participant
(Sun Jan 8 14:59) Wazimu [hunters]: sounds fantastic. mind if i log this chat in forum?
(Sun Jan 8 14:59) Dracu {hunters}: by all means
(Sun Jan 8 15:02) Dracu {hunters}: your milestone suggestion sounds wonderful for commoner league with tweaked rewards and milestones. otherwise i'd advocate for removing commoner league completely
(Sun Jan 8 15:24) Wazimu [hunters]: commoners league makes no sense anyways.
(Sun Jan 8 15:44) Wazimu [hunters]: ok. this discussion can go long :) here is a thought, have milestones balance out to target low/mid/high players, and keep the top 2 ranking players battle it out for the uber prizes
