is the guild up enough to where Iskey could show us a demonstration at Ereldon?
"My doctor says that I have a malformed public-duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fibre and that I am therefore excused from saving universes."
reputation increase
bards could increase other players rep by playing songs from they heroic/villainly deeds and stuff..
you could just mix the bard guild and the possible clown guild. just have a jester subguild in the bards. give them large bonuses in absorbing damage and taunting skills, capable of making enemies too angry to fight well. oh, and with the bard guild, give them some things similar to the skills and spells lists, maybe songs and dances.
A word about dancing.
After getting a nice idea about dancing from Ndarr I've planned and partially coded these things about dancing:
- They work with "dance" command and are similar to skills though the automatically loop themselves when the dance ends.
- They can be used simultaneously with singing and playing.
- They work only in combat.
- There will be 10 different kinds of dances:
* 2 offensive dances using piercing/slashing weapons
* 2 defensive dances that raise dodge/parry
* 1 dance that is only available for males
* 1 dance that is only available for females
* 4 others
- Dances will be main melee thingy in the guild. They will get very few other battle skills -> they make poor damage in melee without dances.
- There are 3 rhythm levels in all dances which affect the dances in different ways.
