I just have to say this. This guild is so great! Not even near to be ready but already dozen of spells (songs) and masteries included! :twisted:
Belannaer is doing his job well.

someone mentioned making weapons from random objects and someone else mentioned being more effective while drunk. call a spade a spade, that is a drunken master.

you could just mix the bard guild and the possible clown guild. just have a jester subguild in the bards. give them large bonuses in absorbing damage and taunting skills, capable of making enemies too angry to fight well. oh, and with the bard guild, give them some things similar to the skills and spells lists, maybe songs and dances. :idea:

Drunken effects aren't going to be there but if you read the existing replies you'll notice that there will be dances and song spells.

A word about dancing.

After getting a nice idea about dancing from Ndarr I've planned and partially coded these things about dancing:

- They work with "dance" command and are similar to skills though the automatically loop themselves when the dance ends.
- They can be used simultaneously with singing and playing.
- They work only in combat.
- There will be 10 different kinds of dances:
* 2 offensive dances using piercing/slashing weapons
* 2 defensive dances that raise dodge/parry
* 1 dance that is only available for males
* 1 dance that is only available for females
* 4 others :twisted:
- Dances will be main melee thingy in the guild. They will get very few other battle skills -> they make poor damage in melee without dances.
- There are 3 rhythm levels in all dances which affect the dances in different ways.
