Consentration.

Post by artic »

Currently we have the skill 'determination' wich helps us resist being stunned. I think it could use a little brother called 'concentration'. Most of the guilds should get this skill, mages and healers for sure. If a player is seriously hit or if the player is moved (by party leader) a concentration check is made to see if player is concentrated enough to continue the skill/spell. It makes sense to halt all offencive skills/spells on move, but beneficial spells coud with enough concentration be cast while moving. Also if you are not moved by party leader, but start to concentrate on fleeing yourself, any spells/skills should be halted, like they are now (note the underlined word). Eg. A healer can perform complicated spells, and still have some concentration left to follow the leader- picture a healer mumbling some spells and not even noticing it as hes legs work completely on their own and follow the leader.
Praised be the god of fire, may he bless me and my dark brethren with the warmth, and save me from the light of hes holy flames.
