Nod, the point is that even with a push on a tie, the house has the advantage. That as unfair to the unfair rules
Guess that was what I was trying to say. See the first post stats, and what regular casinos consider as fair rules.
I don't get why Icesus has to implement some cash-rip-off-restaurant's rules. It sounds like even Finland casinos don't follow it, if my intuition into deciphering finnish is correct.
Blackjack rules

Thoran, thank you for this bashing of player comments. I'm glad that educating Icesus about blackjack is a moot point to you, but I was prompted to start this thread because Idles said that maybe if enough people commented on it, something might get changed.thoran wrote:This conversation is pointless. Just as in Finland, the blackjack in icesus is operated by a monopoly company. They can define their rules. If you choose to play, you accept the rules.
Also, for all those stupid people out there, like me, that actually read the rules of the game before playing, can you add this rule to the sign in the blackjack room. I don't exactly like playing a game where the rules aren't stated, especially when those rules pose an unnacceptable amount of house advantage.
On all the 'free' online games I have played, a tie resulted in a 'push.' However, in the casinos, namely the ones in Las Vegas, the Mecca of Gambling, almost all the blackjack tables play with the house winning in the event of a tie. In fact, I have a picture of a trip to Vegas, in which you can clearly see on the table "Dealer Wins in a Tie." As previously stated, the tables are meant to make money for themselves, not for the gamblers who frequent them.
