hunting is not quite right

Post by cazouh »

Imagine the following. There's a clergyman whose great hobby is hunting (besides, he also does it for a living). One day he's hiding in the bush and sees a beholder passing by. He gets excited, starts aiming carefully, and throws his weapon at the body. The otherwise peaceful creature of course attacks our beloved priest, who tries to flee immediately, but doesn't have a chance.
He knew exactly that a beholder was way out of his league. My question is: why did he attack it in the first place?

I always hunt with very high wimpy level. 'Help hunt' says that wimpy level helps avoiding too powerful creatures. This beholder (of over 160k exp) has made it obvious that it doesn't do anything useful.

I say something should be done to to get you more control over what you attack when you're hunting.
