Artisans

Post by janeti »

Where/how are artisans going to get hold of cloth, silk, chitinium silk ?

And are there going to be any new materials added like Laquer, Paper (very good I'm told), specialist materials like wood, bone...

Heehee, I thought of Salvatore's book too while reading that, Cyrik :)

But for the Artisans; it should be done as a mainguild I think, but also make sure that the cost of ie. resizing armor doesn't dramatically rise and stays approx the same as with smiths as us newbie players don't have endless pockets it wouldn't sound really fun if someone high up the 'who' list demands Millions from his services :(

Also it wouldn't be cool if you saved years to buy rare item x and it was too small to fit, you really, _really_, feel like testing the item and continue playing but theres no Artisans online at the moment.

Maybe most of you players have good nerves but as for me, this would cause me to climb to inn and disconnect.

Artisans

Are artisans going to be able to make jerkins? Or whatever you want to call a torso only piece of armour between a vest and a breastplate. I know that you can find them (in the goblin caves) and it would be nice to be able to get studded or bezainted in that location without going to a coat or cuirass that also covers the arms and stops you wearing interesting bracers.
