Are there currently server issues?
13th Oct:
I got booted off the game earlier this morning. So far, I haven't been able to connect and get back in. Dev server seems to work fine, but I haven't heard anyone on #icesus in IRCnet saying that the game is down, nor is there any posts on the forum besides this one that addresses the issue.
Is anyone else having similar issues? Fimvar is travelling abroad, so not sure if there is any magic trick he can pull off from out there.

According to Idles, there are currently some hardware-related issues with the server machine, and that it is currently being worked on to resolve.
Personally, I have no idea how long the server will stay down, and once resolved, how much of a rollback (read: lost progress) there will be. Probably the safe restore point is from the time of the previous game reboot.
In the meantime, find something else to keep you occupied, and if the withdrawal symptoms get too bad, well, then you're fucked.
(I myself might hit the gym, lift some weights like gymboy, as well as play some pokemon go, maybe! As it happens, the gym has a pokemon gym!)

I think it happened before the reboot, which would explain why the game would want to reboot the moment it got back up (we got it up and running at 01:58 local time), thus it'll boot at 02:13, and then we'll see what happens.werdna wrote:From Solar's post it was unclear, had the mud crash BEFORE the reboot or AFTER the reboot.
Could any1 please clarify?
I've notified Fimvar about this
Edit: Idles is going to check what's going on once he gets to the office.
