battle -brief mode

I wish there was a switch where you could assign combat preferences and combat styles, on the fly, without filling up your screen with long lines of text that you already know is there.

For advanced players, it would help if there was some sort of -brief switch that could be put into macros so that it performs a silent transition between battle styles, without the spam.

Maybe one confirmation line of,
You change your preferences to [so and so/offensive/defensive], attack style.

It isn't silent, but it is a lot easier to ignore.
