The weakest type of the acidic powers, corrosion makes spells combine with
basic corrosive magics. This is the first type taught to a new mage, who
has decided to follow the path of acid. Although corrosion is weak compared
to the advanced types, the magical acid it produces is still dangerous. It
can kill smaller targets, while the bigger ones will feel the corrosion on
them and will be weakened by it. It is said that the mage's knowledge of
the masteries help boosting the spell, making it far deadlier.
