Pyrokinetic flare is the easiest offensive discipline for a practitioner of
pyrokinesis. It works against mindless creatures such as undeads and
constructs, as it does not require a probe. Regrettably, these creatures do
not usually mind the void of air the flare sometimes leaves behind its
sudden manifestation. As a pyrokinetic discipline, the flare is subject to
same somatic restrictions as telekinetic disciplines. It requires more
power to manifest than its equivalent, the telekinetic thrust.
