Bows and crossbows are usually used as long range weapons against advancing armies or for hunting. The crossbow militia
has trained to use their crossbows in the thickest warfare when swords are clashing and you can smell your opponents breath.
Using their own allies as cover they quickly snap their crossbows from their back, let loose an arrow, load up an another one
and then continue whatever they were doing in the battle. This allows them to use their crossbows even while flanking with other
weapons or doing spellcasting or whatever they want, although they may have to pause everything else just for a second to perform the shot.
