Marksmanship is similar to sharpshooting, except that it measures your ability to make even harder shots, allowing you to aim and hit a less than an inch wide gap between armour plates. In effect this skill is required to shoot consistently for high amounts of damage. One's ability in this skill, as well as in 'focus of a marksman', more or less determines one's value as an archer.
