This skill is automatically used by the 'perform' command when you are performing the 'rite of success'. Rite of success helps you to cast the next spell, but unfortunately the effect doesn't last for very long time. Priests use their divine favors when doing the rite, while magic users need pure magic in physical form. See spell Extract magic.
