The spell Shadowbarrier is used to protect individuals with a small amount of shadow energy. The spell forms a black aura in front of the target, and reduces some of the damage done to him, and sometimes can save the target from a deadly critical blow by absorbing the incoming energy into itself. It is said when cast upon a Shadowdancer, this spell gains some extra power.
