The average version of the acid attacks, makes caster able to focus more power to his acid spells, and making the attacks more dangerous than with corrode. With this, the mages can effectively harm their target, when ammonia is combined with a bolt for example. It is said that the mage's knowledge of the masteries help boosting the spell, making it far deadlier.
