This medallion is made of high grade silver, fashioned in a way that it looks like a silverthorn blossom about to open up. A fine silver chain is attached to the medallion, allowing it to be worn around one's neck. Since silverthorn flowers are notoriously venomous to the unprepared, it strikes you as odd that anyone would fashion an ornament after such a vile plant.
