Blood sacrifice allows the blood magi to use their drained life energy to restore their own mana by turning it into pure elemental mana. Eventhough channeler is using the drained life energy the process of turning it into elemental mana is very taxing to himself too and will drain bits of his own life energy as well, making this spellbinding dangerous for the channeler himself to use if he's already wounded or otherwise not in good health. Blood magi are also able to channel the life energy to infuse it with their own and replenish their life essence and mend their wounds. This channeling can only be performed on sacred ground.
