Just possessing a link for a spirit isn't enough. Sorcerer must be able to command it, force it to use its powers for Sorcerer's benefit. This skill is giving core knowledge to commanding, especially to verbal and mental commands, body language doesn't matter much to spirits, after all most of them want to see the Sorcerer dead rather than anything else. This skill greatly effects one's spellpowers, amongst many other things.
