Most vampires use magical and normal diseases as their tools of war as they themself are normally quite immune or resistant to them while mere mortals can die in thousands from a single infection if it spreads amongst them. The Ilyuktuev are especially adept in crafting and using different kind of diseases ranging from minor diseases that cause some discomfort to deadly plagues that could wipe out large populations.
