Diseases are an obvious choice for a weapon to use against their foes for vampires. Practically none of the normal diseases can affect them and many of the magical diseases also have minimal effect on them. Different kinds of decaying rots are the easiest to master for dhamphirs and they like to infect their victims directly by attacking their innards with this maneuver. While not the most elaborate combat tactic or the most powerful it can deal some permanent damage to its victims system and it is one of the magical disease that can also affect undeads by destroying their physical form. Application of necrosis to the infected victim empowers the diseases making it last longer and become more deadly. The corruptive energies caused by the gangrenous eviscerate can enhance some magical diseases and scourges.
