As handlers of elemental mana water priest channelers are able to affect the mana drain of spells cast by people other than themselves. As a side-effect of their own channeling channeler can either decrease the mana drain of the target's spell when the channeler is using beneficial channeled spell or increase the mana drain of their foes while battling them with offensive channeled spells. Skilled channelers who have great knowledge in mana conservation have been known to achieve other effects when handling the mana flow of other people.
