The mind's eye discipline has two uses for psionicists. First way to use it is to perceive distant places through the eyes of your probed victims, which is useful for example in locating that particular victim. Another way to use the discipline is to evoke it on the psionicist himself to channel his psychic energies into a mystical third eye, that allows him to perceive his surroundings even though his normal eyes can't.
