Potion brewing is the main skill of an alchemist. With it he can create many various potions if he knows the recipes. Effects range from healing to regeneration and to even bomb potions that can be used as weapons in combat. Making potions requires different kind of ingredients such as mushrooms and various plants. Having knowledge about different ingredients and mushrooms helps a lot. Also it doesn't hurt if one knows a bit about mixing, plant lore and herbalism. Most alchemists write their recipes in a recipe book so that they don't forget them. Thus the recipe book is very important tool to have. Alchemist also needs many different kind of tools for different processes in making of potions. Some kind of empty vial is also good to have so that you can pour your finished potion into something where it is safely stored.
