The rangers archers are known for their ability to carefully plan and execute amazing shots. Snap shot has nothing to do with this sort of shooting. An archer using snap shot will take the first opening to get a shot off and into his enemy. It won't be the best shot, but will be a fast shot. The tales of wilders snapping off shots at the instant of a charge or storm strikes fear into civilized soldiers. Archers skilled in snap shot can also quickly drop their bows and snatch up their axe when the situation demands.
