Unbending defence is a combat style where the monk decides not to give even an inch of ground to enemy anymore. Using this skill monk concentrates on only to defend certain position he has taken. While doing so it is possible to strike accurately, but not nearly as often as when fighting offensive. Of course the defensive capabilities are also greatly increased. Masters of this skill also learn how to use a staff as a defensive weapon.

You don't want to mess with someone who is trained in staff fighting techniques: A properly wielded staff can deliver strikes that sweep, glide, jab, and crush skulls. If you have little or nothing with which to block a twirling staff, the outcome of the battle is almost always in the staff user's favor. What ever attack your opponent throws at you, you can use the staff to block or parry virtually any strike.
