Long description:

This is a long, heavy, ebony arbalest. It is a crossbow with great penetrating power, a nightmare for heavy armoured targets. It has been crafted from ebon wood, which is prized for its toughness and enchanting synergies. Some humidity has condensed over the weapon, giving it a wet look. The bowstring is strange, as if emanating slight whispers of mist. You hear a crackling sound coming from the weapon, and occasionally it pulses light. It is a crossbow. Strength has no effect on the damage it does.
